दुःखप्रदोषमोषाय शस्त्रेणाष्टाधिकं शतं हुत्वा हूं सम्पुटेनैव विदध्यात् मन्त्रदीपनं

duḥkhapradoṣamoṣāya śastreṇāṣṭādhikaṃ śataṃ hutvā hūṃ sampuṭenaiva vidadhyāt mantradīpanaṃ

เพื่อขจัดทุกข์และโทษอันเกิดจากอิทธิพลอัปมงคล พึงบูชาไฟหนึ่งร้อยแปดครั้งโดยใช้ศัสตราเป็นเครื่องประกอบ; ด้วยมนต์ที่ประกบด้วยพยางค์ “หูṃ” ย่อมสำเร็จมันทระทีปนะ คือการปลุกเร้ามนต์ให้ทำงาน।
