เมื่อกราบทูลต่อเทวेशดังนี้แล้ว ให้กราบ นมัสการ สรรเสริญ แล้วจึงทำพิธีวิสรรชน. เมื่อสละนฤมาลยะและชำระตนให้บริสุทธิ์แล้ว ให้สรงพระศิวะและบูชา. แม้อยู่ห่างห้าโยชนะ พิธีปวิตระ (การสวมด้ายชำระ) พึงกระทำต่อหน้าพระคุรุ.
