Related Themes: Agni Purana 78 (nyāsa and protective mantra procedures); Agni Purana mantra-vidhi passages on hṛdaya/astra nyāsa
It teaches a procedural step in mantra-prayoga: performing nāḍī-sandhāna (linking subtle channels) and then doing astra-nyāsa—installing the protective ‘weapon’ mantra—beginning from the heart-region, after placing/charging it in a suitable vessel such as a bamboo tube.
It preserves specialized, operational details of ritual technology—subtle-body concepts (nāḍīs), applied nyāsa, and protective astra-mantras—showing the Agni Purana’s coverage beyond mythology into practical liturgy and tantric-style procedures.
By correctly linking the nāḍīs and installing the astra-mantra from the heart-center, the practitioner is ritually purified and safeguarded, establishing inner protection and steadiness for subsequent worship or mantra-work.
