Concept: Tejas as a yogic principle: aligning inner luminosity with the cosmic Sun; integrating mantra (japa), mind (dhyāna), and action (homa).

Application: Use a threefold practice—recite, meditate, and offer—so worship is not merely external but psycho-physical alignment with the deity’s tejas.

FAQs

It prescribes a Saura (Sun-worship) sequence: align one’s tejas with the fierce solar form (Caṇḍa), offer Ravi’s consecrated remnants (nirmālya), then perform worship supported by japa, dhyāna, and homa.

It exemplifies the text’s practical ritual manual style—detailing specific offerings (nirmālya) and integrated sādhanā methods (japa–dhyāna–homa), alongside its many other domains such as governance, medicine, and arts.

By centering worship on Ravi through disciplined recitation, meditation, and fire-offering, the practitioner is said to obtain comprehensive auspicious results—purification, empowerment of tejas, and success attributed to the Sun’s grace.
