Related Themes: Agni Purana 312.23 (yantra-lekhana context); Agni Purana 312.25 (dhyāna with emblems and placement)
It gives the Devī’s mūla-mantra (root formula) and indicates applying the ṣaḍaṅga (six-limbed) ancillary mantras/nyāsa, along with her yantric identity (red, situated in the triangle) and functional powers (melting, delighting, agitating).
Beyond myth, it preserves practical Śākta-tantric liturgy: bīja-mantras, ṣaḍaṅga-nyāsa methodology, and yantra-theory (trikoṇa), showing the Agni Purāṇa as a compendium of applied ritual technologies.
Correct mantra with ṣaḍaṅga-nyāsa is traditionally held to ‘seal’ the practice, purify the practitioner, and make the Devī’s grace effective—channeling bliss (hlāda) and transformative inner energy (kṣobha) toward siddhi and devotional merit.
