Related Themes: Agni Purana 365 (roga-nidāna/kośa-style definitions)
Ayurvedic roga-nidāna (diagnostics): it defines key terms for strength/vitality and for pathological mental-physical states like fainting (mūrchā), dejection (kaśmala), and delusion (moha).
It functions as a compact medical glossary—typical of the Agni Purana’s encyclopedic method—standardizing technical vocabulary used across discussions of health, vitality, and disease symptoms.
By clarifying terms for vitality and affliction, it supports right discernment (viveka) and appropriate care; in Purāṇic framing, correct knowledge reduces delusion (moha) and aids dharmic living through proper bodily and mental regulation.
