พระรุทระตรัสว่า “นี่คือเขตศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของพระคุรี (Gaurī); เป็นแดนที่ ‘มิได้ถูกละทิ้ง’ จึงระลึกนามว่า อวิมุกตะ (Avimukta). ด้วยการถวายทานอาหาร (อันนะทาน) ย่อมบรรลุสวรรค์. ที่นี่เป็นทีรถะสูงสุดชื่อ วานารกะ (Vānaraka) และเรียกอีกนามว่า วาราณสี (Vārāṇasī). ผู้พำนักและผู้สดับในที่นั้น ย่อมได้ผลคือ พระหริ. การสวดภาวนา (ชปะ), การบำเพ็ญตบะ, และการให้ทานในอวิมุกตะ ล้วนเป็นอักษัย คือไม่เสื่อมสูญ”
