Niralamba Upanishad 6 — Verse 6

प्रकृतिरिति च ब्रह्मणः सकाशान् नानाविचित्रजगन्निर्माणसामर्थ्यबुद्धिरूपा ब्रह्मशक्तिरेव प्रकृतिः॥६॥

Padapatha (Word Split)

प्रकृतिः । इति । च । ब्रह्मणः । सकाशात् । नाना-विचित्र-जगत्-निर्माण-सामर्थ्य-बुद्धि-रूपा । ब्रह्म-शक्तिः । एव । प्रकृतिः ॥६॥

IAST Transliteration

prakṛtir iti ca brahmaṇaḥ sakāśān nānā-vicitra-jagan-nirmāṇa-sāmarthya-buddhi-rūpā brahmaśaktir eva prakṛtiḥ॥6॥

Translation

‘ప్రకృతి’ అనగా— బ్రహ్మ నుండి ఉద్భవించిన, నానావిధ విచిత్ర జగత్తును నిర్మించగల సామర్థ్య-రూప బుద్ధి/సంభావనగా ఉన్న బ్రహ్మశక్తియే; అదే ప్రకృతి॥६॥

Academic Translation

And ‘Prakṛti’ is indeed the power of Brahman—of the nature of intelligence/potentiality for the capacity to construct the manifold and variegated universe—(arising) from Brahman.
