Maitreya Upanishad 9 — Verse 9

āśrayāśrayahīno ’smi ādhārarahito ’smy aham | bandhamokṣādihīno ’smi śuddhabrahmāsmi so ’smy aham ||9||

I am without support and supported (i.e., free from the relation of substratum and dependent); I am without any basis. I am devoid of bondage, liberation, and the like. I am pure Brahman; I am He.

Asaṅgatva (non-relation), śuddha-brahman, transcendence of bondage/liberation as conceptual categoriesMahavakya: Directly echoes «सोऽहम्» (So’ham) and supports «अहं ब्रह्मास्मि» by affirming identity with pure Brahman after negating relational structures (āśraya/āśrita) and soteriological dualities (bandha/mokṣa).YajurKṛṣṇa Yajurveda (Maitrāyaṇīya śākhā) ShakhaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka-style; Upaniṣadic metrical verse)
