Brahmā (deduced for Vaiṣṇavakhaṇḍa–Ayodhyāmāhātmya context)
Tirtha: Ayodhyā-tīrtha (Śeṣa-sambandha)
Type: ghat
Scene: A pilgrim at a river-ghāṭa in Ayodhyā completes snāna, then offers flowers, incense, and lamps to a serpent-formed Śeṣa shrine/maṇḍala and reverently worships the tīrtha as a living deity; Viṣṇu’s realm is suggested in the sky as a luminous vision.
Pilgrimage is completed by reverent worship—of the deity connected to the site and of the site itself—performed with right method.
The Sarayū-bank tīrtha in Ayodhyā connected with Śeṣa and called Sahasradhārā.
Snāna, Śeṣa-pūjā, and vidhivat (rule-based) tīrtha-pūjā.
