सारस्वत उवाच । अथासौ नारदो देवं ज्ञात्वा शप्तं द्विजन्मना । भृगुणा च तथा पूर्वं नान्यथैतद्भविष्यति
sārasvata uvāca | athāsau nārado devaṃ jñātvā śaptaṃ dvijanmanā | bhṛguṇā ca tathā pūrvaṃ nānyathaitadbhaviṣyati
సారస్వతుడు పలికెను—అప్పుడు నారదుడు, దేవుడు ఒక ద్విజుడు (బ్రాహ్మణుడు) శపించబడినాడని, అలాగే పూర్వం భృగువుచేత కూడా శపించబడినాడని తెలిసికొని, ‘ఇది ఇతరథా కాబోదు’ అని నిశ్చయించెను।
