ईश्वर उवाच । तस्माद्वायव्यदिग्भागे धनुःषोडशभिः स्थितः । उत्तरार्कश्च नाम्ना वै सद्यः प्रत्ययकारकः । मुच्यते सर्वरोगैस्तु कृत्वा वै निंबसप्तमीम्
īśvara uvāca | tasmādvāyavyadigbhāge dhanuḥṣoḍaśabhiḥ sthitaḥ | uttarārkaśca nāmnā vai sadyaḥ pratyayakārakaḥ | mucyate sarvarogaistu kṛtvā vai niṃbasaptamīm
ఈశ్వరుడు పలికెను—అక్కడి నుండి వాయవ్య దిశలో పదహారు ధనుస్సుల దూరమున ‘ఉత్తరార్క’ అనే దేవుడు ఉన్నాడు; అతడు తక్షణమే నమ్మకమును కలిగించువాడు. నింబ-సప్తమీ వ్రతం ఆచరించితే సమస్త రోగముల నుండి విముక్తి కలుగును.
