ఇట్లు శ్రీ స్కాంద మహాపురాణంలోని ఏకాశీతి సహస్ర శ్లోకసంహితలో, సప్తమ ప్రభాసఖండంలోని ప్రథమ ప్రభాసక్షేత్ర మాహాత్మ్యంలో ‘విచిత్రేశ్వర మహాత్మ్య వర్ణనం’ అనే నూట నలభై మూడు వ అధ్యాయం సమాప్తమైంది।
