Transliteration

māghasnānaṃ naro bhaktyā gomatyāṃ kurute tu yaḥ | vainateyodaye nityaṃ saṃtuṣṭaḥ saha bhāryayā

Translation

భక్తితో గోమతీ నదిలో మాఘస్నానం చేసే పురుషుడు—ప్రతిరోజు గరుడోదయం (సూర్యోదయం) వేళ—భార్యతో కలిసి సంతుష్టుడై ఉంటే, ఆ ప్రశంసిత వ్రతఫలాన్ని పొందుతాడు.
