श्रीमार्कंडेय उवाच । पितॄणां प्रेतरूपाणां कृत्वा वाक्यं महीपते । चंद्रशर्मा द्विजश्रेष्ठो द्वारकां समुपागतः

Transliteration

śrīmārkaṃḍeya uvāca | pitṝṇāṃ pretarūpāṇāṃ kṛtvā vākyaṃ mahīpate | caṃdraśarmā dvijaśreṣṭho dvārakāṃ samupāgataḥ

Translation

శ్రీ మార్కండేయుడు పలికెను—ఓ మహీపతే, ప్రేతరూపంలో ప్రత్యక్షమైన పితృదేవతల ఆజ్ఞను నెరవేర్చి, ద్విజశ్రేష్ఠుడు చంద్రశర్మ ద్వారకకు చేరుకొనెను.
