Transliteration

havyaṃ devā na gṛhṇanti kavyaṃ ca pitarastathā | pūjāṃ gṛhṇāti no sūryastathā caiva pitāmahāḥ

Translation

ఆ సమయంలో దేవతలు హవ్యాన్ని స్వీకరించరు, అలాగే పితరులు కవ్యాన్ని గ్రహించరు; అప్పుడు సూర్యుడు కూడా పూజను స్వీకరించడు, పితామహులు కూడా అలాగే.
