श्रीविष्णुरुवाच । मुक्तितीर्थमिदं रुद्धं भवद्भिः पापकर्मभिः । तस्माद्धनिष्ये सर्वांश्च दानवान्नात्र संशयः
śrīviṣṇuruvāca | muktitīrthamidaṃ ruddhaṃ bhavadbhiḥ pāpakarmabhiḥ | tasmāddhaniṣye sarvāṃśca dānavānnātra saṃśayaḥ
శ్రీ విష్ణువు పలికెను: 'పాపకర్ములైన మీచే ఈ ముక్తితీర్థం అడ్డగించబడింది. కనుక నేను దానవులందరినీ సంహరిస్తాను, ఇందులో సందేహం లేదు.'
