Transliteration

viṣṇoḥ pādaprasūtāyā vaiṣṇavīti ca viśrutā | tatra gatvā mahābhāga gṛhītvā'rghyaṃ vidhānataḥ

Translation

విష్ణుపాదమునుండి ప్రసూతమైనదని ఆమె ‘వైష్ణవీ’ అని ప్రసిద్ధి. ఓ మహాభాగ! అక్కడికి వెళ్లి విధిపూర్వకంగా అర్ఘ్యము (జలార్పణము) గ్రహించి సమర్పించవలెను.
