सूत उवाच । अत्र मे नास्ति संदेहो युष्माकं च पुनः स्थितः । ततो वक्ष्याम्यशेषेण श्रूयतां द्विजसत्तमाः । एतत्क्षेत्रं पुनश्चाद्यं न क्षयं याति कुत्रचित्
sūta uvāca | atra me nāsti saṃdeho yuṣmākaṃ ca punaḥ sthitaḥ | tato vakṣyāmyaśeṣeṇa śrūyatāṃ dvijasattamāḥ | etatkṣetraṃ punaścādyaṃ na kṣayaṃ yāti kutracit
సూతుడు పలికెను—నాకు ఇందులో సందేహం లేదు; అయితే మీలో అది మళ్లీ కలిగింది. కనుక నేను సమస్తాన్ని పూర్తిగా వివరిస్తాను; హే ద్విజశ్రేష్ఠులారా, వినండి. ఈ క్షేత్రం ఆద్యమై నిత్యనూతనమై ఉంటుంది; ఇది ఎక్కడా క్షయమొందదు।
