नाहं देवि करिष्यामि हस्त्यश्वरथसंग्रहम् । यतस्तेषां भवेत्पुष्टिर्वित्तैर्वित्तं करैर्भवेत् । गृहीतैः सर्वलोकानां तस्मात्तन्न ममेप्सितम्
nāhaṃ devi kariṣyāmi hastyaśvarathasaṃgraham | yatasteṣāṃ bhavetpuṣṭirvittairvittaṃ karairbhavet | gṛhītaiḥ sarvalokānāṃ tasmāttanna mamepsitam
హే దేవీ, నేను ఏనుగులు, గుర్రాలు, రథాలు సేకరించను; వాటి పోషణకు ధనం కావాలి, ఆ ధనం సమస్త ప్రజల నుండి వసూలు చేసే పన్నుల ద్వారానే వస్తుంది. అందువల్ల అది నాకు ఇష్టముకాదు.
