समादाय पितॄंस्तर्प्य यावदग्नौ जुहोति सः । तावद्वह्निः परित्यज्य समस्तमपि भूतलम्
samādāya pitṝṃstarpya yāvadagnau juhoti saḥ | tāvadvahniḥ parityajya samastamapi bhūtalam
అది తీసుకొని అతడు పితృదేవతలకు తర్పణం చేసి అగ్నిలో ఆహుతులు సమర్పించసాగెను; అతడు హోమం చేస్తున్నంతకాలం వహ్ని తన స్థానాన్ని విడిచి సమస్త భూతలమంతటా వ్యాపించెను।
