अथ तं संनिधौ दृष्ट्वा गौरी पप्रच्छ सादरम् । कोऽयं देव समायातः सुकृती तव मन्दिरे । अनेन किं कृतं कर्म यत्प्राप्तोऽत्र विभूतिधृक्
atha taṃ saṃnidhau dṛṣṭvā gaurī papraccha sādaram | ko'yaṃ deva samāyātaḥ sukṛtī tava mandire | anena kiṃ kṛtaṃ karma yatprāpto'tra vibhūtidhṛk
అప్పుడు సమీపంలో ఉన్న అతనిని చూసి గౌరీ భక్తితో అడిగింది—“హే దేవా! నీ మందిరానికి వచ్చిన ఈ పుణ్యవంతుడు ఎవరు? ఏ కర్మచేత ఇతడు ఇక్కడ దివ్యవిభూతిని ధరించి చేరాడు?”
