Transliteration

śāṃḍilyuvāca | mama vaktraṃ samālokya smitaṃ cakre janārdana | strīniṃdā vihitānena svamatyāpi jagadguro

Translation

శాండిల్యుడు పలికెను—హే జనార్దన, అతడు నా ముఖాన్ని చూసి చిరునవ్వు నవ్వెను. కాని హే జగద్గురో, తన కుమతిచేతనే స్త్రీనింద అనే దోషం చేసెను.
