bhagavānuvāca | bhaviṣyati na saṃdehaḥ putraste balavānsudhīḥ | avadhyaḥ sarvaśastrāṇāṃ mahātejobhiranvitaḥ
Bhagavān (Deveśa; the Lord, as narrator’s designation)
Scene: The Lord speaks a decisive boon: a future son will be strong, wise, weapon-proof, and blazing with spiritual splendor; the moment is charged with divine certainty.
Divine speech is presented as unfailing: faith in dharmic destiny and the Lord’s assurance removes doubt and fear.
This verse functions within the broader Tīrthamāhātmya setting, but this specific line focuses on a boon narrative rather than naming a particular tīrtha.
No direct ritual is prescribed in this verse; it is a prophetic blessing describing the son’s qualities.
