ततः कालेन महता वल्मीकः समपद्यत । तस्मिन्क्षेत्रे स पाताले संप्रयातः शनैःशनैः
tataḥ kālena mahatā valmīkaḥ samapadyata | tasminkṣetre sa pātāle saṃprayātaḥ śanaiḥśanaiḥ
ఆపై మహాకాలం గడిచిన తరువాత అక్కడ వల్మీకము (చీమల పుట్ట) ఏర్పడింది; ఆ పవిత్ర క్షేత్రములో అది మెల్లమెల్లగా పాతాళంలోకి దిగిపోయింది।
