śayane bodhane viṣṇoḥ saṃprāpte dvādaśīdine | viṣṇorapi ca durgāyāḥ saṃprāpte navamīdine

Translation

విష్ణువు శయనము మరియు బోధనము సమయమున, ద్వాదశి తిథి వచ్చినప్పుడు; అలాగే నవమి తిథి వచ్చినప్పుడు—విష్ణువుకును దుర్గాదేవికును కూడా (వ్రత-పూజ) జరుగును.
