taddṛṣṭvā sa mahīpālaḥ padmamatyadbhutaṃ mahat | jagrāha kautukāviṣṭaḥ svayaṃ savyena pāṇinā

ఆ మహత్తరమైన, అత్యద్భుతమైన కమలాన్ని చూసి, కుతూహలంతో నిండిన రాజు దానిని తానే ఎడమ చేతితో పట్టుకున్నాడు।
