tataḥ kopaparītātmā samunistāndvijottamān | śaśāpa tāraśabdena yathā śṛṇvaṃti kṛtsnaśaḥ

అప్పుడు కోపంతో ఆవరించబడిన మనస్సు గల ఆ ముని, కఠినమైన ‘తార’ ధ్వనితో ఉత్తమ ద్విజులను శపించాడు; అది అందరికీ స్పష్టంగా వినిపించింది.
