अथ कृत्वा महद्युद्धं यथा शक्त्यातिदारुणम् । हतभूयिष्ठशेषा ये भित्त्वा भूमिं गता अधः
atha kṛtvā mahadyuddhaṃ yathā śaktyātidāruṇam | hatabhūyiṣṭhaśeṣā ye bhittvā bhūmiṃ gatā adhaḥ
అనంతరం వారు తమ శక్తి మేరకు అత్యంత భయంకరమైన మహాయుద్ధం చేశారు; వారి సైన్యంలో ఎక్కువ మంది హతులై, మిగిలినవారు భూమిని చీల్చుకొని క్రిందికి వెళ్లిపోయారు।
