इंद्रद्युम्नेति वै भूपस्त्वया दृष्टः श्रुतोऽथ वा । चिरायुस्त्वं श्रुतोऽस्माभिः पृच्छामस्तेन सन्मुने
iṃdradyumneti vai bhūpastvayā dṛṣṭaḥ śruto'tha vā | cirāyustvaṃ śruto'smābhiḥ pṛcchāmastena sanmune
‘ఇంద్రద్యుమ్న’ అను నామముగల ఆ రాజును మీరు చూచితిరా, లేక వినితిరా? మీరు దీర్ఘాయుష్కుడని మేము వినితిమి; అందుచేత, ఓ సన్మునీ, మేము మిమ్మును ప్రశ్నించుచున్నాము।
