श्रीब्रह्मोवाच । तव कीर्तिसमुच्छेदः संजातोऽद्य धरातले । यावत्कीर्तिर्धरापृष्ठे तावत्स्वर्गे वसेन्नरः
śrībrahmovāca | tava kīrtisamucchedaḥ saṃjāto'dya dharātale | yāvatkīrtirdharāpṛṣṭhe tāvatsvarge vasennaraḥ
శ్రీబ్రహ్ముడు పలికెను— “ఈ రోజు భూమిపై నీ కీర్తి యొక్క కొనసాగింపు తెగిపోయింది. భూమిమీద కీర్తి నిలిచినంతకాలం మనుడు స్వర్గంలో నివసిస్తాడు।”
