Transliteration

tataḥ sa kathayāmāsa pūrvadehasamudbhavam | malimlucastato nūnaṃ śivarātrisamudbhavam

Translation

అప్పుడు అతడు తన పూర్వదేహమునుండి ఉద్భవించిన వృత్తాంతమును చెప్పెను—శివరాత్రి వ్రతసంబంధమువలననే ఆ చాండాలత్వము కలిగిందని।
