prakṛtīnāṃ rāmanāma saṃmato vā ṣaḍakṣaraḥ | so'pi praṇavahīnaḥ syātpurāṇasmṛtinirṇayaḥ

సామాన్యులకు ‘రామనామం’గా సమ్మతమైన షడక్షర మంత్రం గ్రాహ్యం; అది కూడా ప్రణవం (ఓం) లేకుండానే ఉండాలి—ఇదే పురాణ-స్మృతి నిర్ణయం।
