Transliteration

tāvadgarjaṃti pāpāni narakāstāvadeva hi | tāvanmāyāsahasrāṇi yāvanmāso pavāsakaḥ

Translation

పాపాలు అంతకాలమే గర్జిస్తాయి, నరకాలు కూడా అంతకాలమే—నిజమే. అలాగే ఉపవాసమాసం ఉన్నంతవరకే వేల మాయాభ్రమాలు నిలుస్తాయి।
