भर्तृयज्ञ उवाच । तच्छ्रुत्वा पितरो हृष्टा जग्मुः स्वंस्वं निकेतनम् । वर्षांतेऽपि समासाद्य श्राद्धं न स्युर्बुभुक्षिताः
bhartṛyajña uvāca | tacchrutvā pitaro hṛṣṭā jagmuḥ svaṃsvaṃ niketanam | varṣāṃte'pi samāsādya śrāddhaṃ na syurbubhukṣitāḥ
భర్తృయజ్ఞుడు అన్నాడు—ఇది విని పితృదేవతలు హర్షించి తమ తమ నివాసాలకు వెళ్లారు. సంవత్సరాంతంలో శ్రాద్ధం జరిగితే వారు ఆకలితో ఉండరు.
