सूत उवाच । समुद्रस्यापि पारोऽत्र लक्ष्यते च क्षितेरपि । तारकाणां मुनेस्तस्य न गुणानां द्विजोत्तमाः
sūta uvāca | samudrasyāpi pāro'tra lakṣyate ca kṣiterapi | tārakāṇāṃ munestasya na guṇānāṃ dvijottamāḥ
సూతుడు అన్నాడు—ఓ ద్విజోత్తములారా, ఇక్కడ సముద్రపు అవతలి తీరం కూడా, భూమి యొక్క హద్దు కూడా కనిపించవచ్చు; కానీ నక్షత్రాలకన్నా అధికుడైన ఆ ముని గుణాలు కొలవలేము.
