इन्द्र उवाच । वर्षेवर्षे तदा श्राद्धं प्रकरोति पितामहः । गयां गत्वा दिने तस्मिन्पितॄणां दिव्यरूपिणाम्
indra uvāca | varṣevarṣe tadā śrāddhaṃ prakaroti pitāmahaḥ | gayāṃ gatvā dine tasminpitṝṇāṃ divyarūpiṇām
ఇంద్రుడు పలికెను—అదేవిధంగా పితామహుడు (బ్రహ్మ) ప్రతి సంవత్సరము ఆ దినమున గయకు వెళ్లి దివ్యరూప పితృదేవతలకై శ్రాద్ధమును నిర్వహించుచున్నాడు.
