प्रष्टव्या च ततो माता तस्याश्चापि च या भवेत् । जननी चापि प्रष्टव्या तस्याश्चापि च या भवेत्
praṣṭavyā ca tato mātā tasyāścāpi ca yā bhavet | jananī cāpi praṣṭavyā tasyāścāpi ca yā bhavet
తర్వాత ఆమె తల్లిని ప్రశ్నించాలి, అలాగే ఆమె తల్లి తల్లిని (నానమ్మ) కూడా. ఇదే విధంగా మాతృపరంపరలోని పూర్వ మాతృకులను అడిగి మాతృవంశాన్ని జాగ్రత్తగా పరిశీలించాలి।
