ततो ऽहं लज्जया नष्टा दृष्ट्वा श्वशुरसंगमान् । येन भुक्तानि भोज्यानि पुरा मृष्टान्यनेकशः

Transliteration

tato 'haṃ lajjayā naṣṭā dṛṣṭvā śvaśurasaṃgamān | yena bhuktāni bhojyāni purā mṛṣṭānyanekaśaḥ

తర్వాత శ్వశురుడితోను జ్యేష్ఠులతోను జరిగిన ఆ సమాగమాలను చూసి నేను లజ్జతో కుంగిపోయి, যেন అంతర్ధానమయ్యాను; వారి చేతులవల్ల పూర్వం ఎన్నోసార్లు రుచికరమైన భోజనాలు భుజించబడ్డాయి కదా.
