Transliteration

parvatānāṃ yathā merurdvipadānāṃ dvijottamaḥ | sthānajānāṃ tu viprāṇāṃ śreṣṭho'ṣṭakulikastathā

Translation

పర్వతాలలో మేరువు అత్యుత్తమం, ద్విపదుల్లో ద్విజోత్తముడు అత్యున్నతుడైనట్లే, ఆ స్థలంలో జన్మించిన విప్రులలో అష్టకులికుడు కూడా శ్రేష్ఠుడు।
