Transliteration

kṛtaghna uvāca | na me gatirmahārāja saṃjātā pāpakarmiṇaḥ | taḍāgavittacaurasya kṛtaghnasya tathaiva ca

Translation

కృతఘ్నుడు అన్నాడు—మహారాజా, పాపకర్మి అయిన నాకు ఏ సద్గతి కలగలేదు; తడాగం కోసం ఉంచిన ధనాన్ని దొంగిలించినవాడిని, కృతఘ్నుడినీ।
