सूत उवाच । ततस्तु पंचमे चाह्नि संजाते ते द्विजोत्तमाः । श्वेतधौतांबराः सर्वे सुस्नाताः शुचयः स्थिताः
sūta uvāca | tatastu paṃcame cāhni saṃjāte te dvijottamāḥ | śvetadhautāṃbarāḥ sarve susnātāḥ śucayaḥ sthitāḥ
సూతుడు పలికెను—అనంతరం ఐదవ దినము వచ్చినప్పుడు ఆ ద్విజోత్తములు అందరూ శుభ్రంగా స్నానమాచరించి, శ్వేతధౌత వస్త్రాలు ధరించి, శుచిగా సిద్ధంగా నిలిచిరి।
