वसिष्ठ उवाच । न त्वां यच्छाम्यहं धेनो प्राणत्यागेऽपि संस्थिते । तद्रक्षस्व स्वयं धेनो आत्मानं मत्प्रभावतः

Transliteration

vasiṣṭha uvāca | na tvāṃ yacchāmyahaṃ dheno prāṇatyāge'pi saṃsthite | tadrakṣasva svayaṃ dheno ātmānaṃ matprabhāvataḥ

Translation

వసిష్ఠుడు పలికెను—ఓ ధేనూ, ప్రాణత్యాగం చేయవలసి వచ్చినా నేను నిన్ను విడువను. కాబట్టి ఓ ధేనూ, నా తపోబల ప్రభావంతో బలపడిన నీ స్వశక్తితో నిన్ను నీవే రక్షించుకొనుము.
