evaṃ niścitya manasā sūryavāreṇa saptamī | yadā'yātā dvijaśreṣṭhāstadā cāṣṭottaraṃ śatam

ఇలా మనసులో నిర్ణయించుకొని, ఆదివారంతో కూడిన సప్తమి వచ్చినప్పుడు, శ్రేష్ఠ బ్రాహ్మణులు వచ్చిన వేళ (క్రియ) అష్టోత్తర శతసంఖ్యగా సాగింది।
