श्रावणे तु कदंबेन पूजनं तीक्ष्णदीधितेः । नैवेद्ये मोदकाश्चैव तगरं धूप माददेत्
śrāvaṇe tu kadaṃbena pūjanaṃ tīkṣṇadīdhiteḥ | naivedye modakāścaiva tagaraṃ dhūpa mādadet
శ్రావణ మాసంలో తీక్ష్ణ కిరణములవాడైన (సూర్యుని) కదంబ పుష్పాలతో పూజించాలి. నైవేద్యంగా మోదకాలు సమర్పించి, ధూపంగా తగరాన్ని తీసుకోవాలి.
