Transliteration

caitre māsi tu saṃprāpte surabhyā pūjyeddharim | naivedyaṃ guṇikāḥ proktā dhūpaṃ sarjarasodbhavam

Translation

చైత్ర మాసము వచ్చినప్పుడు సురభి గోవు నుండి లభించే సుగంధ ద్రవ్యాలతో హరిని పూజించాలి। నైవేద్యంగా గుణికలు (తీపి కేకులు) చెప్పబడ్డాయి; ధూపం సర్జ వృక్ష రసమునుండి పుట్టినది।
