यस्तान्वसूञ्छुचिर्भूत्वा स्नात्वा धौतांबरो नरः । तर्पयित्वा द्विजश्रेष्ठान्पश्चात्संपूजयेन्नरः

yastānvasūñchucirbhūtvā snātvā dhautāṃbaro naraḥ | tarpayitvā dvijaśreṣṭhānpaścātsaṃpūjayennaraḥ

శుచిగా మారి స్నానం చేసి శుభ్రమైన వస్త్రాలు ధరించిన మనిషి, ముందుగా ద్విజశ్రేష్ఠులను తర్పణ/దానాలతో తృప్తిపరచి, అనంతరం ఆ వసువులను సమ్యక్‌గా పూజించాలి.
