श्रीभगवानुवाच । एतद्रूपं मया शक्र कृतं तस्य वधाय वै । अवध्यः सर्वभूतानां यतोन्येषां मया हतः
śrībhagavānuvāca | etadrūpaṃ mayā śakra kṛtaṃ tasya vadhāya vai | avadhyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ yatonyeṣāṃ mayā hataḥ
శ్రీభగవానుడు పలికెను—హే శక్రా! అతని వధార్థమే నేను ఈ రూపాన్ని ధరించాను; అతడు సమస్త భూతాలకు అవధ్యుడు, అందుకే ఇతరులు కాదు—నేనే అతన్ని సంహరించాను।
