अहं हि महिषो नाम दानवेन्द्रो यदि श्रुतः । मया येन सहस्राक्षो द्वन्द्वयुद्धे विनिर्जितः
ahaṃ hi mahiṣo nāma dānavendro yadi śrutaḥ | mayā yena sahasrākṣo dvandvayuddhe vinirjitaḥ
‘నేను మహిషుడు అనే దానవేంద్రుడను, నన్ను వినియుండవచ్చు; సహస్రాక్షుడైన ఇంద్రుని ద్వంద్వయుద్ధములో జయించినవాడను నేనే.’
