mattavāraṇajuṣṭāni dīrghikāsahitāni ca | gṛhodyānaiḥ sametāni yathā rājagṛhāṇi ca

ఆ గృహాలు రాజభవనాలవలె ఉండెను—మత్తగజములు సంచరించుచు సేవించు, దీర్ఘికలు (చెరువులు) కలిగి, గృహోపవనములతో అలంకృతమైయుండెను।
